When importing files from Wordpress and phpbb3, I discovered that some posts were cut off mysteriously mid-sentence. I discovered that the same problem happens when trying to post Rich Text characters from a document or webpage into a regular VB4 forum or CMS post when using the standard, non-WYSIWYG editor. I contacted support about the VB4 side and an update may be included in VB 4.1, but this probably needs to be handled separately for Impex as it is easy to miss during an import and can result in a lot of content being lost.
For an example, the Rich Text quotes, long dashes, and apostrophes in the following text would break in an import or direct post:
