Change Display Name sets pulls Email address data

Ver 3.1.4 (It is not in your drop down list and happened here on this site.)

NOTE: Did it on this site when trying to remove my actual name.

When going into "Change Display Name" the email address data fills the "Enter a new display name" box.
(Because of this, and not reading, it made me think I needed to enter in my email address and password to make the change. So I clicked enter and it saved that as my Display Name.)

When the page refreshed, it had my email address again in the box. This time I changed it to IPTVConnection and clicked save. It again refreshed the page with the email address filling the box, yet the Display Name was actually changed.

Assumption...Wrong table data is being pulled and thus displayed.

Side Note...Now my email address can be viewed in the Display Name History. Can you please remove this from my profile here?
